The news is agreeing with you, that it probably wasn't the main charge - lucky for the driver.
There was a vicar or someone on the radio today saying that many refugees 'convert' to Christianity in a belief that it will help their asylum case. This chap had been refused multiple times.

Yes, perhaps the trauma of having his asylum application turned down.
That would make sense, although he converted way back in 2015 and was confirmed in 2017 and was apparently a practicing Chrisitan. His religion is probably irrelevant though, given the reports of his breakdown after his rejection.

It with the word Panda
You imagined you were a panda, as a consequence of your species dysphoria.
You appeared to be proud of your relatives connections with panza (sic) tanks.
As panzers were not produced in Austria, one can only assume those connections were in driving the tanks for Nazi Germany, which is highly probable given the fondness of Austrians for the Nazi ideology.

The difference is in how the comment is wrapped in other accompanying comments, as I'm sure you understand.Pretty sure you were one of the gang who poo pooed my post when I mentioned the amount of Arabs in Covent Garden during Arab season. Typically, when someone loses an asylum claim and exhausts their rights to appeal, the Home Office withdraws their financial support and housing and warns them they will be removed from the UK.
It is not clear if the Home Office ever told Al Swealmeen he would be removed from the country or whether it took any steps to do so.

And all financial support withdrawn, without any other action such as repatriation being discussed.
Imagine being without any type of financial support for two years during the Covid pandemic.
It sounds like some organisation creating the potential for terrorism motivated by inhuman treatment towards individuals from that organisation.
Apparently a lot of these fruit cakes consider converting to Christianity will assist there asylum claims
