Reading Filly's outbursts last night, made me wonder if the outcome of a case like this may have been different, had capital punishment still been an option?
In a case where there were no 'smoking gun', would a jury err more on the side of caution over their decision?
As some on here seem to want to promote capital punishment, could conversely, Lucy have been found not-guilty if that was the punishment that the prosecution was going after?
