No. If they’re that close to them and it’s less aggro to trade with them, they should have been trading with them and not us already. Simple answer is, you dont have a friend in Denmark and this story is totally fictitious.
It’s like me saying my 'friend' used to export to the EU but now there’s so much aggro, he sells to someone round the corner to him that he never sold to before.

Interesting, was chatting to a client earlier today who is benefitting from this - they run remote services for UK businesses, and use mostly Pakistani workers - business is on the up.
