Millwall

Dion Dublin hasn't helped at all. I like the man for what ever reason from his Cambridge days to Home under the hammer always spoke sense until now!!!
I could have sworn that I saw him on Match of the day speaking out against the taking of the knee?

Trevor Philips has been accused of being an Uncle Tom and of coonery.( what is Coonery)
Do these people think they will ever extinguish racism with this language and lack of respect.

Apparently it's ok for BLM to use that language against blacks who don't agree with them. Because it's black on black it's not classed as racism, just difference of opinion....

Imo you should always practice what you preach.... Unless it's BLM then it's do as I say not as I do...

This is what I found on line

Why does the identity-politics set hate Trevor Phillips so much? Their loathing is palpable. They’ve hounded him out of the Labour Party, from which he was recently suspended on trumped-up charges of ‘Islamophobia’. They’re currently trying to get him thrown off the inquiry into why coronavirus has had a disproportionate impact on black and ethnic-minority communities. And they speak about him in the most demeaning and racialised terms. Kehinde Andrews, a Guardian contributor and academic, calls him a ‘modern-day Uncle Tom’ and accuses him of ‘coonery’. ‘Coon’, of course, is a vile racist word to describe a black person who exists merely to entertain white folks.

I dont doubt that some of the boos where racist but do you know all of their reasons...

The boos are, of course, being attributed to Millwall's racism* but apparently there was anti-BLM booing at other matches that day, not just at Millwall. It was the first day that supporters had been let into the grounds since lockdown, and indeed since this knee nonsense. Up until now, the knee business has been confined to the loony left's echo chamber, but on Saturday those loons got a shock to find that the masses don't subscribe to it. "BLM" is an extreme loony far-left organisation that wants to, among other evil things, "defund" the police. They are using black people to further their revolutionary aims - the same aims as the traditional British loony left, the Guardian, the BBC and the like. I can't stand football but I've nothing against other people's enjoyment of it. It is the genuine, long-standing culture of working class Britain, white and black, and when the fans smell a rat they let you know about it!

*Racism has lost its meaning, except to the loony left. Nobody else cares but them.

I read that Millwall are not going to 'take the knee' next week but are going to link arms instead - for the same reason.

Not sure what difference that makes but, according to their reaction to the booing, surely they must be pandering to the racists.

It was tonight.. they got clapped. then QPR bent the knee Millwall stood. No boos

After scoring a goal, and in front of the Millwall fans.

This is not taking a knee, it's "Black Power" symbolism and deliberately provocative to the fans. Will any disciplinary action be taken against the players?

They would not have done that with a bigger normal crowd.

This must go in Millwalls favour, it provocative and Millwall would have had every right to Boo and be even more suggestive. If the FL fine Millwall for one then they must for both. But the players need to be banned.

Yes they did. They; like you and me have mouthes to feed.
They get paid the same whether they take the knee or not. In other words they chose to do it. Just the well laid Millwall players that decided not to.(y)

Its nots the same .

Do you honestly think all the officials agree with taking the knee? Its more than their job is worth not to bend the knee.
QPR players have not been bending the Knee for a while now. That was a collective decision.

If your Lionel Messi you bend that knee or you don't bend that knee. Nothing will happen to your Career. If your a average joe white kid trying to make your way in football fighting for a place in the first team: You do what you are told to do, unless you look as if your going to be better than Lionel Messi.
