No, I didn't answer you because you are intent on being aggressive and I don't think talking to you/telling you our story made any difference, you've not even bothered to read that it's not my dad (2nd time I've told you).. I'll just leave you to fester on your own.
Blahdiblahdiblah.
Reality is: a 90 year old, whatever relation is to you, has been made to isolate without having a choice.
I rightly assume that you didn't give him a choice as you refused to answer feeling the guilt.
If it was me you would've gone out of my circle of f&f.

You're not very good at this are you?

My point is pertinent to the thread. They may carry untold diseases, many disappear, and they all take up valuable resources from the NHS amongst others. So while we are pandering to their demands, the rest suffer from cuts to welfare services.
Not true.
Welfare services, including the NHS are cut by government, not some asylum seekers. The government pinch the purse in a far-reaching way. Those who 'disappear' wouldn't get any benefits, certainly not housing or money because they're undocumented btw.

Don't get me wrong, it would be better if there were no asylum seekers but it's not a perfect world. Also, we aren't very good at processing asylum seekers, nor are we quick at sending the opportunists home, but the money & resources they use up is peanuts really..

We, as a civilised country, should help some people who come from homes that are no longer safe, from war-torn countries. It's what makes us human, it's what makes us unselfish animals. We are in the position to help, as are other safe countries around the world and we should help others.

Something for the doubters to chew over:

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...evere-mild-immune-monica-gandhi-a9662226.html

"Face masks can prevent wearers from developing a serious case of Covid-19 by cutting the amount of virus in the body, scientists have found.

It means face coverings not only protect other people, but they also mean that if the person wearing it does become infected, their symptoms are milder, they say."

We, the non wearer, don't care about living forever.
We live now, no care about tomorrow.

So - that means they did not know that before - thus inspiring us with confidence in all their other decisions.

...... but they are still learning so much about this disease...

I hope so .

New Zealand locks down again.

An NZ reporter on R5L this morning said that the people won't keep putting up with lock downs, each and every time another case (or four) is identified.
He even mused over whether Sweden had it right all along.
