I'm not offended, not in the slightest.
Why are mask non-wearers going around this forum trying to belittle those who are wearing them?

Why are you so upset about the who's guidelines?
  • WHO officials do not recommend mask wearing for healthy members of the general population.
  • Masks should be worn by those with the disease or those in close contact with those infected.

Am not, but that's not the WHO's guidelines anymore. Wondering why you keep putting up out of date information? You seem to be fond of following people around here on this forum, saying the same (incorrect) stuff over and over again, but you seem to not have the ability to follow the news and the updates?

You're just coming over as a bit daft really. Most people will just either wear a mask or not then get on with their lives.

It is for me.
If it was good enough in march its good enough now,
Whats changed between then and now is the fear mongering has just gotten stronger.

Whats changed between then and now is the scientists know and understand an awful lot more about Coronavirus than they did 6 months ago.

FIFY

".....WHO advises that governments should encourage the use of non-medical fabric masks, which can act as a barrier to prevent the spread of the virus from the wearer to others where there are many cases of COVID-19, for people in the general public where physical distancing of at least 1 metre is not possible – such as, on public transport, in shops or in other confined or crowded environments."

No, you've just stopped listening because you don't want to accept it.

Fear of this disease will probably kill more people than the disease itself.

We have learnt a lot about this disease in the last six months but there is still a lot we don't know.
There could be factors at play which we have yet to discover.
Covid 19 is not the common flu, it behaves differently, you don't normally have spikes in flu related illnesses during the summer.
Countries which appear to have fared better in dealing with the pandemic may have achieved these outcomes due to other factors rather than the use of extreme lockdowns.

Wearing a mask is like ****ing through your underpants to avoid taking your willy out in case you catch something.
Has there been any serious studies into the long term effects of wearing a mask.
You need to be able to breath freely in order to expel waste products which could cause you harm.
Could be that mask wearing could facilitate the spread of the virus.

"But countries that have got on top of the virus - mostly through painful, society-crippling lockdowns - are finding it has not gone away, will spread again if we relax our guard and that normality is still elusively distant.

"They're discovering it's more challenging coming out of lockdown than going in," said Dr Groppelli. "They haven't thought about how we can co-exist with the virus."

Australia is one of the countries trying to chart a path out of lockdown, but the state of Victoria is now in "disaster" mode. Melbourne went back into lockdown in early July, but - as contagion continues - has since imposed even stricter rules. Now there is a night-time curfew and people are expected to exercise within 5km of their homes.

Europe too is opening up, but Spain, France and Greece have all reported their highest number of cases in weeks. Germany has reported more than 1,000 cases a day for the first time in three months

The problem with Covid 19 is that, we know how much we know but we don't know how much we dont know about Covid 19.
If that makes sense

Which is why taking sensible medically-evidenced precautions that don't cost us anything like social distancing, hand hygiene and wearing face coverings is the way we will get out of this quicker and less painfully.
