Well, they caused the problem with centuries of "education" ... So they have a responsibility to fix it.

It could be added to the school curriculum. Correcting history and dealing with racism.
Sure, we'd probably need to train sufficient teachers with the right kind of skills to teach it equitably.
An/or use peripatetic teachers. It would only need say half or one hour per week for one term. So it's not like it would take a massive amount of time out of the school curriculum. I suppose it's about priorities, but I see it as a high priority.
It's not only about correcting history, it's also about opening mindsets to alternatives, encouraging enquiring minds.

'They' are the same people as 'we'. We're in a democracy, broadly speaking they do what we tell them.

Which is why we should take pride in the steps we have taken to reduce racism we have taken as a nation and ask ourselves what are we doing now that in 50 years we'll be looking back at and shaking our heads.

Well, they caused the problem with centuries of "education" to telling us blacks were only good for being slaves. So they have a responsibility to fix it. Maybe if they admitted that many racist opinions today have been passed down through families since the dark days if slavery, people might start to realise their opinion is not as natural as they thought.

I accept we cannot change the history , and education should truthfully reflect the past. The question for me is when do black people begin to adopt a positive attitude going forward , stop looking to the past as a reason for their failings and inadequacies in present modern day society as and when the situation requires. seems to me that they perversely thrive on the divide and relish in the opportunity to drive the wedge in further at any opportunity.
it’s why racism will always exist. they’re controlling it ,it’s their history and they ain’t letting go of it any time soon.

Of course, it's their history, that's why statues of slavery masters have the inscriptions of "most wise and virtuous".

That's a load of cobblers. She wasn't pulled over cos she was black the driver drove on the wrong side of the road, they then failed to stop.

The officers had no idea of skin colour due to the blacked out windows of the vehicle.

I can almost guarantee the coppers hearts sank when they realised it was black people they pulled over. They knew instantly the race card would be pulled.

The cops genuinely did nothing wrong in this instance, and the can footage proves it.

It's also, perhaps, another example of BAME people being distrustful of Police, and the police resorting unfairly quickly to enforcement.
