We are forever moving (covered in dust) things like multi-gyms, treadmills, exercise balls etc. I also know people that have joined the gym in the new year and only been once and never gone back.Multi gyms are very popular. Whenever I go to the local recycling centre, there’s always a good selection of multi gyms on the scrap pile.
Doing something is better than doing nothing….
Therefore, pick a system you can stick with (you can always change it, if and when you get more enthusiasm, knowledge, results).
Me neither. I'm happy in my body. Besides, it's incredibly dull.Never lifted a weight in my life.
All good advice.To the OP:
There are basics that you must follow, or you'll be wasting your time.
Doing something is better than doing nothing.
Be consistent : while you may never become Arnie no matter what you do, you'll never be anything other than the current "you" with a session every blue moon.
Therefore, pick a system you can stick with (you can always change it, if and when you get more enthusiasm, knowledge, results).
Sort out your diet. You cannot out-train a poor diet.
Good technique ("form") will ultimately get you better results more quickly, with less risk of injury. Get some initial tuition (there are some respected people on YouTube, if you don't or can't get a gym or personal trainer).
Avoid "ego lifting". Throwing the weights around achieves nothing, and increases risk of injury.
That would be @pete01We are forever moving (covered in dust) things like multi-gyms, treadmills, exercise balls etc. I also know people that have joined the gym in the new year and only been once and never gone back.
Ha ha, @pete01 won't last 6 mins. He isn't used to work. The only weightlifting he ever does is his belly to the pub and pint potsThey subsidise it for the rest of us.
Jan-mar is known in the fitness industry as the golden quarter as it’s the time most people join and usually last about 6 weeks.
Do you still have that giff with those massive bum dumbbells?
200kg free? Even one rep would be impressive.Got quite a few but don't make a point of posting them. I think it's a bit sad showing off on line. I posted a couple once only, cos someone was telling stories about benching 200kg who looked like a bag of **** full of doughnuts and takeaways.
Woof!I walk to the gym every day. Once i get to the door, i turn around and walk back home!!
