That’s got a positive pressure gas valve. The pressure from the meter pushes gas into the burner.

That sounds rather high, 500mm water.Some negative pressure gas valves when coupled up to the right fan with give -50 mbar at the valve's oulet. That is minus 50. That may help you along the way.
And that seems low, 1.1mm water. Maybe it's enough for your burner.Ours creates -11pascals on full rate at gas valve outlet.
