NEW Screwfix forum broken down

It may well be working (in a fashion) at the moment there's only one topic people can reply to (in electricians forum) and that's about the new site anyway.
You can't create a new thread , nor reply to any other thread apart from the one mentioned.

Mind you, that's about what we have come to expect from SF over the years.

I cannot see the interest in the Screwfix Forums, it is just full of trolls.

At the moment you can't reply to anyone else's topic, but can start a new one and reply to your own topics. A bit like talking to yourself. Sf are the pits ATM.
Mind you,, since the new forum fired up, there are only a handful of registered users (around 40 at the last count) so it's a bit like deathsville.

PS Big-all, I have emailed them today as well. Expressing my disgust at the way the forum isn't working.

Yep the reply came from Mark Horsey. He alone must be their IT department.

He's probably got all on keeping that aged Commodore 64 going.

Yep the SF forum seems to be working for now. Just a real shortage of posters over there. Even trying to log on for those with old accounts is fraught with difficulty. The request password reset, doesn't send the email with the link to reset the password. (at least it didn't with mine) You then have to contact SF via email and wait days on a reply. Seems Mark Horsey is very busy (and will be for quite some time)

never had a games console never appealed to me
although with 4 brothers i occasionally played there machines but never more than a few hours a year
