New Sentence Game.

(I know I didn't write the rules of this game (did anybody?) but, from what I've seen on the many previous pages, my interpretation is that you can beep a mistake only if you spot it before the next play.

"Dinners" was wrong but "surprisingly" was valid and so "dinners" has to stand, as does "giardiasis". So, unless somebody gets a word in while I'm writing this, the last valid word is "sickness".)

i disagree space cat... if it's wrong it's wrong. Agreed, going back pages and pages is silly, but if it's spotted in the last day or so, it should be righted..

To be fair, the only real rule is the one decreed by the OP, conny... but seein' as he/she hasn't posted for a month or so, then it's plan B... which is not Wotan... but kind oh what you aluded to Susie, majority rule which i have no choice but to adhere to, and tends to equal Wotan anyway !

However, my one last plea... is just simply, don't you guys want to get it right? for example, if the word was "egg" and someone posted "When was Christmas", the next person may just see the word Christmas and create an amazing acronym, but doesn't that just take away what this game is? Can i propose the motion that if the error is on the current or previous page only, it can be redressed? Thank you for listening.

you've not even considered my idea...

i only manage to get on in the evening, and i check back to where i last postes and read on from there.... if i spot a mistake it's too late...? plus you lot can't spot a mistake when it prods you in the face... you're effectively watering down what is quite a good thread.... but i suppose me being challenging like this will only p1ss off the 'committee' more
