SLR means, single lens reflex? what does that mean?

Single Lens Reflex, which translates to - It will use a mirror and a prism, so instead of looking through a separate viewfinder lens, you are looking through the main lens which actually takes the photo - you see exactly what the film will see. Good for when you swap lenses.
