£6.2 billion ..That's £206 per working person in 1 year .. (30 mil'ish working) or the salaries of 62,000 GP's or even 5 dentists
You wouldn't get much for that in the IT world .. Mind you, you ain't gonna get much anyway ... Unless you play up holy sheite whenever they seem to be fobbing you off..

i have to disagree, the government can't be held responsible for technical teething problems if the work has been outsourced, you may have an argument if it was all done in house ie governmental IT departments running the whole project.

Kendor thats incorrect whoever is in goverment they are at the top and if they employ people who cant do the job or who have got the wrong companies to do work for them then they are responsible for all.

So if you employ a person to do some work in your house and they make a complete balls of it then don't take it out on them just blame yourself! come on freddie live in the real world will ya!

Oh i do kendor and accept responsability for my actions and not try and blame others for spendinding 6.2 billion on a computer that dont work.

You buy a Dell computers with that money at least they work sometimes

but who's blaming who here? the government is getting stick for something out of their control.

the companies doing the work should be those blamed for rising costs and failure to come up with the goods.
