I think the police may have been directing their messaging towards the river to try and stop speculation by social media

For the police and ambulance to have been called back in January, she must have had a mental health episode, maybe a temporary psychosis. That sadly probably happened again, but to be fair to the police they do not have the resources or willingness to search the wider area, where I suspect she will eventually be found.

As for speculation the mods can always close the thread if they think it appropriate.

I told her it does happen as I deal with troubled kids and a few of them over the years have been left by their mothers. However, they don't seem to be anything like the dog loving, well groomed person that Nicola Bulley appears to be. Proper skanks, some of them…..

I don't think any third party is involved, the forensics will have been over that scene very thoroughly & unless a third party is extremely forensically aware . . . . Or the Police are extremely incompetent . . . . Then something would have appeared by now.

She wasn’t seen near the river or near the bench.

She was spotted on the tow path, but that leads to the fields.

As far as I can ascertain only the phone and dog harness connect her to the river.

I still wonder why the police keep making announcements that the “working hypothesis is she went in the river”

Yeah there doesnt seem to be any forensic evidence of any third party.

And it seems awfully unlikely a 3rd party was able to abduct her without being seen at all

If he's pro bono I don't know what stopped him searching wider? Iirc he stopped at a weir.
