Nigels view on how to stop the riots.

There has been a bit concerning the stop the boats chants on C4 and the general shear number of times immigration crops up in the news. Some people blame them for all of the problems when in fact they are a minor itch to a much larger problem. True they need to be stopped but way too much excitement about the subject,

Didn't I see you applauding the destruction of ULEZ cameras?
How would you know?
You joined less than a month ago, himmy.
Besides, violence against objects is no violence, it's damage.
Whether is criminal or not is debatable.
You have a thesaurus next to your computer, use it for more than trying to sound sophisticated.
The tinfoil hatters predict a lot of things: 'tis what they do.
And somehow lately they've been right on many fronts...

Just have. We should stop uncontrolled immigration.
The U.K. has never had uncontrolled immigration.

In regards to small boats, there is nothing that can be done in this country to stop them, international collaboration is the only way

With legal immigration, yes. They could make that zero if they really wanted.
Why didn't the Tories do that when they were in power.
Reducing numbers coming into the UK is a vote winner for any party.

Hundreds of thousands of foreign students subsidise our universities, tens of thousands of workers fill skills shortages. Then there are family visas for spouses and children as long as other criteria are met. In the last few years we took hundreds of thousands of refugees under quotas from Hong Kong, Afghanistan and Ukraine.

So that means circumstances beyond the governments control dictate the level of immigration, a bit like inflation i suppose.
If that is the case, then all these protests are ultimately pointless, because mass immigration is now a fact of life.
I was always puzzled why successive goverments never took decisive action to reduce immigration when such action would be a massive vote winner for the party in power.
Its seems that no goverment wants to acknowledge the elephant in the room, and that is that immigration can't be turned off and on like a tap.

So you're asserting the primary issue with housing, healthcare etc is being caused by migrants? So if we take GPs for example, you're asserting if all migrants were removed from their lists the issues getting a docs app would lessen quite significantly?

Didn't mention healthcare, but seeing as you did, mass immigration ain't exactly going to help is it?

I was mainly referring to council housing being given to recent arrivals, (remember I am seeing this actually happening with my own eye, so no bs about Daily Mail please) when locals can't even get on the waiting list.

Do you think this is fair?
