Hi all.

Was in a customers house today who was complaining of whooshing noises from the gas.

Turned out to be the water restriction as it passed through the TRV's, I was wandering if this is common with possibly cheaper brands ?

There was no arrows on them so i dont suspect they were on the wrong way round, but iv never heard of the make, bulldog or somehting like that, took the head off one and it wasnt the usual pin, was like a wee button type.

Any ideas or experience anyone can share about these ?

thnks

HAD THIS WITH ALL SORTS OF VALVES WORSE ON SYSTEM WITH HIGH SPEED PUMPS,AUTO BY PASS MAY HELP,BUT LIKE MOST JOBS WHEN THEY KNOW ITS GOING TO COST THE PROB IS NOT AS BAD

Bulldog is Plumbcenter own brand, some of which are cheap & nasty Peglers - not even a gland nut.
I bet the lockshield valves are all fully open, so try doing the standard balancing procedure.
It must be 99:1that there won't be an auto bypass valve, but if there is, turn it down!
