non-uk plugs

i'm creating an interactive multi-media 'how to' tutorial on wiring plugs.
at the moment i have completed the uk standard plugs.
i am finding it difficult to find certain info about non-uk plugs. do american and european ones hold fuses? does anyone have any diagrams of inside these plugs?
any response would be a great help thankyou

afaict the british plug is the only plug with a fuse in general use

also remember there is not one european plug there are a whole variety of types used accross europe.

Can't remember the last time I had to wire a plug as nearly all applicances come with mouled ones these days and they don't often break.
