Went to Bletchley Park recently, lots to see and hands on experience with an Enigma machine.
I dont think I have ever been to a museum where four hours passed so quickly, and that was only part of it. You get free entry if you return within 12 months. A good balance between human interest and the tech stuff.

Desperately sad about this. He played some amazing roles over the years, Jim Morrison, Iceman and my personal favourite Doc Holliday. RIP.

He was epic in Heat, iirc his gun reloading was that good is was as a training video

2nd best special forces raid after Entebbe. 6 days was a great film. Trevor was indeed a hero.
Just read that Trevor received the George Medal but many in the force believed he should have received a much higher award for his bravery, he saved at least one SAS life by grappling one of the terrorist leaders when the SAS burst in.
It's gone from BBC Radio player now but this series was absolutely excellent, catch it if/when it comes back online https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0022z2y/episodes/guide I guess the book would be as enthralling.
Isn’t the George Medal the civilian equivalent of the VC?
