So that’s roaming scaremongering sorted
EHIC scaremongering sorted (Replaced with a GHIC)
International driving licence scaremongering sorted - UK licence valid in EU
Green card insurance sorted - free from your insurer
So zero benefits of brexit

Have we missed any other scare tactics?
Care to tell us why millions of young people (UK citizens) are now unable to work/study in 30 other countries without getting visas or being guaranteed a minimum salary?

That ain't 'scare tactics', that is reality!

You might enjoy a Xenophobic UK, but your kids/grand kids are gonna hate you for it!

But they are charging, so we haven’t managed to get inclusive roaming.

So no brexit benefit.
Before, they couldnt charge so we didn’t have to pay. Now, they can charge and we STILL don’t have to pay. Are you having trouble understanding that concept?

For the third time, If YOU were to travel to Europe tomorrow, would you have to pay for roaming? If so, why? Stupidity? Laziness? Martyrdom?

If they are that thick that they can’t get a visa then perhaps they shouldn’t be working or studying abroad. That goes for those from abroad that want to work or study here too.

I had to get a visa (as well as, quite rightly, health checks, a job, a work permit, somewhere to live and health insurance) 40 years ago to work in another country. Wasn’t a problem then, shouldn’t be a problem now - if you’re needed in that country! Nobody should have the right to impose themselves on another country's workforce, health and education system if they are not required.

Mottie stop being dishonest.

as an EU member, UK citizens had a massive freedom: they could choose to live, work, retire in any of 28 countries.

Getting a visa etc is not the same whatsoever, for a start it costs money, it’s time limited etc etc.

Since Brexit we now gave massive shortages of workers which is stifling our economy

And our health system, education and housing are all worse - so even the xenophobic reasons spouted by brexers haven’t come true.

Mottie admits there are no benefits to Brexit.

Yeah, and EU members had the right to come over here, undercut our tradesmen, fill our schools, abuse out health care and generally bleed us dry.

I knew that before the vote. So did you. So why did you vote to leave?

If it’s worth it, it’s worth it. Are you saying the opportunity to live, work or study in another country is not worth it because of the price of a visa?

Could you go and work in Australia, New Zealand, America etc without proving that you are fit and needed?

poor Mottie desperately clings to his lies

1) wages: the govt decide on public sector workers pay and that is way below inflation -so the problem is the govt, not EU workers

2) they dont fill our schools, the majority of EU workers were....workers not children

3) no they didnt abuse our healthcare -EU workers were....fit healthy workers, not decrepit old people

Fourth time. If you went to Europe today, would YOU be getting inclusive roaming? Simple question, even for you so why are you not answering?
roaming charges have been reintroduced since brexit

so that is not a benefit of brexit, its a negative

If it’s worth it, it’s worth it. Are you saying the opportunity to live, work or study in another country is not worth it because of the price of a visa?
visa applications cost money
they take time to arrange
you have to have a job arranged with an employer to get a visa

So it makes seasonal work or short term work contracts not worth it and too much hassle

Before brexit working in any EU country meant the same rules applied
now each nation has different rules

You can keep twisting it as much as you like, the simple fact is: Brexit is a massive restriction on our freedoms...because Brexit is sh1t.

This is a thread about the loss of roaming charges. You are entitled to your opinions on Brexit - feel free to start your own thread on how sh1t you find it.

Meanwhile, in this thread, just stick to the thread topic.

For the fifth time, are you subject to roaming charges in the EU when you don't need to be? Yes or No?
