All networks? Some networks? Any proof of that or are you just guessing and hoping others will accept that information? I’ve put up examples of where the average UK traveller can roam inclusive if they want to. Where’s your proof that they can’t? We are talking about the average person that goes to the EU from the U.K. for two week holiday and not a U.K. based EU travelling salesman FFS. Stop splitting hairs.

Both sides are splitting hairs here.

The truth is, some people are incurring roaming charges whilst others benefit from their provider soaking up or deferring the cost. Just more Brexit shít.
 
EE mobile phone customers have accused the company of ripping them off after the provider increased the cost of its EU roaming package from £10 to £25 a month in the space of only a few months.

While Tesco, Giffgaff, O2 and Virgin have allowed their customers to carry on using their phones in mainland Europe at no extra cost, EE has pushed through a staggering 150% increase to its popular roaming package that has left customers furious, and threatening to leave.


EE now charges its contract customers £2.29 a day to use their phones as at home while in mainland Europe, or they can buy a monthly roaming pass. These make more sense on a two-week break. The charges only affect those who signed new contracts after the summer of 2021.

Yep, Brexit is officially shít. Every bill I have had over the last year has peaked every time my son or I was in Europe.

Munich airport was just as shít yesterday for us poor Brits, having to trudge (past the nicely located automated booths of EU bods) to the far end of the massive airport, where a couple of manned booths were open for us to spend ages queueing in. Then trudge the same path back to try and get to our gate.

Brexit - officially shít and unnecessary.

£22 extra that month. That’s gotta be nearly half a percent extra on top of the price of your holiday, isn’t it? What did you pay for your holiday again? Calls and texts are included, only data is extra if not included. Did you have no WiFi in your hotel? Anyway, more fool you for staying with a shìt rip-off mobile company. £45 a month. - are you renting the phone as well?

Let me guess what camp you are in. :unsure: I suppose by paying for it when you don’t need to, gives you a valid reason in your eyes to moan about it. Guess what camp I’m in?

It makes littel difference. If you're roaming in Europe now it's more expensive.
Some might give you a month's free roaming, but only if you've been using the phone in UK for a couple of months.

The only real choice these days is to get a local SIM card in your phone, or keep an old phone with the local SIM card, and local number, and/or to switch off mobile data and not use your UK mobile.

Freedom is being locked up, straight from Orwellian doublespeak.

It would be easier to add wings to a fish than convince Brexiteers they were sold a pup.

Some of them are tiptoeing from rampant Brexmania to "I always knew there was a a risk" and "nobody knew it would be this bad".
