Capital punishment neither serves as a deterrent or a punishment,it will never bring loved ones back.What kind of society says it's ok to state murder someone because they themselves have taken a life?Revenge is a different matter,that is personal.

It takes a special kind of man to pull the hangmans lever, Albert Pierrpoint in his memoirs said hanging never stopped a murder.
