Alex Jones: the P.T.Barnum of the radio....roll up, roll up, roll the rubes into the tent. Feed 'em with hate and send 'em out into the world, online and off they go to riddle society with half-baked bullsh!t - and you're happy to eat it up with a big spoon.
What happened to Conservatives?
They used to be so...conservative.
Now they've sat too long at the Tea Party and become as mad as March Hares.

He's not on his own with coming up with half baked bullshit on the internet is he.
Ukraine good Putin bad ?
I'm amazed at all these people who've come out and know so much about Russian history, unbelievable Jeff.

Then perhaps you're better off reading an accredited source like the Grauniad rather than listening to a coke-riddled shock jock for your information.

You point out where I've said I've listened.
Doesn't take much to work out the cut of his jib without reading his stuff.
Probably why I don't read any of his output.

I haven't said you did, old boy;)
But apart from the well read opinions of your fellow diy'ers, who do you heed for info?

It's a stupid question.
No it isn't.

Don't believe the MSM, or governments, or scientists, or health professionals, is a common cry on here. I've genuinely no idea where the conspiracy fruitcakes get their info. Tik Tok and YouTube seem to be front runners.

Or conversely why do you believe msm, governments, health professionals and your favourites scientists.?

I don't take anything at face value. I look at different sources, and the evidence where I can, then judge what is likely to be correct.

It also depends on the claim. If someone says they've just been shopping, I tend to believe them. If they claim they've become magnetic following a vaccine jab, I tend not to believe them.

To say something must be wrong because the MSM, or governments, or scientists, or health professionals said it is just nonsense.

I tend to do what you said in your first paragraph, don't we all?
Second paragraph, it's human nature not to take everything at face value, lifetime experiences teach you that.
Nobodies saying their wrong or their credibility would be shot and they wouldn't be able to propagate propaganda.
Newspapers are on a slippery slope how many pick a daily up everyday? The BBC, people are switching off because of the envelopes they push. So people are turning to other sources for information not because they believe in conspiracy theories but because the more information they glean a level of cynicism is egendered.
