Ooh gawd...think I've discovered a better windowboard method

BTW ^^

You can see that void behind the boards butting up to the window - previously UPVC covers and trims were used for this (the 'new' windows must've been smaller than the original bay ones I guess).
I'm presuming I can purchase new cover trims and adhere them to the rear of the boards (once fitted!).
