Your friend has a SM. Their could be danger for them.
I agree the danger is fitters who come in and fit the SM after 4 hours training over the internet.
Why did the fitter say the cooker was unsafe when it had a chain to the wall as per what my mates gas engineer installed in the first place.
You are just trolling and spamming. You need to get a life - were you abused as a child and are now trying to take it out on sociality or maybe you were bullied at school - something is not right in your head for sure.

Are you sure it takes that long?

Gas 'engineers' = plumbers with their brains blown out. (y)

The processes leading up to being cut off are exactly the same for both meters.

You are no more likely to be cut off or have your supply cut off with either meter.

FACT boyos.

But it’s easier to turn a SM off though.

I know you understand that….

says the guy that stupid he cant even dig a hole without hitting a gas pipe , More chance of you cutting someones gas supply off

That's not the problem though is it. Self turn off for some reason is the real problem. It even bypasses the checks a supplier needs to make before they decide to turn one off.

NO THEY ARE NOT

Last stage is a few keystrokes in a room that could be miles away from the meter's location

Last stage is people going to the meter's location with tools to remove the main fuse from the cutout.
You ignored the bit that said...

He’s to daft to grasp that.

I’m just stating once it gets to that point, it’s far easier to turn of the supply via a SM

Noseall is a bit slow with this point. And he’s too childish to reply to me directly.
