No .. I would not approach an engineer on-site sent by a company to take work off that company, unethical ...... but I wish I had taken her name & number, avoided the issue I had.

I assume there are suitable people in West Glamorgan, I don't know many gas engineers if someone on here wants to reach out to me - then great.
I have met only a couple - and if I could find someone who wanted to be competent & fair then I'd be happy to engage direct.
