Do a search on Google for a rude word meaning broken, followed by "up".

Make sure you search the WWW, not just the UK.

Well i found it eventually and i can honestly say i have seen exactly the same stuff when i was a kid on a programme called " All our yesterdays " which was a 60's programme all about WW2.

I dont understand why you are so shocked to find this stuff there must be hundreds of tons of film and photo's of this stuff everywhere from libraries to book shops

I suppose it's not just the content, but it is being posted by US soldiers...this is at the least morally wrong, don't you think?

Whoever posted stuff like that well it isnt nice but posted by soldiers? like i said its gone on since the camera went to war and i fail to see the difference between a soldier or a reporter taking and posting those pics, infact the reporter will make money from it so perhaps the soldier is just a fool?

Very true but the glorifying of what they have done stops them from being able to say "I was just doing my job".

I aint sticking up for anybody Kendor but a lot of these pics seem to be the result of self inflicktion i.e. the remains of suicide bombers and their victims.

There are some shooting incident pics but only in one occasion did i see where the soldiers were claiming that they had inflicted the injury but then the victim was firing rockets at them and being treated by American medics afterwards-----the same couldnt be said for the bombers victims

Surely a reporter is taking pictures because that is his job and I doubt that reporters will concentrate purely on pictures of corpses and injuries because that is not what sells papers.

These soldiers, on the other hand, are taking pictures like this for entertainment. Imagine what it would be like if one of yous family had been killed in action and you were to see pictures like this taken of them.

This seems to me to be another case where the US army is needlesly antagonising huge numbers of people because they seem to have no sense and no feeling.

Reporter maybe wrong word--photographer then. He will take photo's of anything that sells cause thats his job, however distastefull you think his pics maybe he knows if he takes those pics and puts them on his website or a stock library then someone will want to buy the use of them, either a mag to show the horrors or some people buy images like that for ??? your guess.

He does this cause the photographer owns the copyright of the photos just the same as the papperazi try to get pics of a pop star with out her knickers on getting out of a car and makes £10 to £100,000 for those pics.

Seedy little world isnt it ? but i or the photographers/reporters or any countries soldiers didnt make the world that way --you? and the others who wish to view those pics in whatever form did.

The soldiers who posted those pics--maybe they make money somehow or they are plain stupid for posting them for free on the website which will sell them to its members ( i did notice a fee of 10 dollars per month )

To be honest if i come across a body in that state and had my camera i would take the pics and sell them to a stock library because i know how much money is involved having an interest in photography.

You blame the soldiers photograher or the reporter but they only do it cause you lot pay for it either when you join a web site--buy a newspaper or magazine--watch a video or buy a book or even watch the news.

Like i said --it's a seedy little world

you are completely right in what you are saying Freddie but having not visited the site i'm not sure of the content? Are the soldiers posing besides the bodies smiling or something like that? then i would say it's distasteful as opposed to what could be classed as informative with a straight forward "news photo", I'm not against the latter as it can bolster the opinion of people that war is a nasty business full of atrocities.
