Most often I will need to drill holes for plugs in brick/concrete wall, 6 to 8 mm, so if I drill M6.0 I would need the hole to be nore more than 7-8mm (probably more like <=7)
Completely the wrong tool for the job. You need at the very least a hammer drill. Holes for plugs don't need to be highly accurate but using HSS bits and a driver are a lost cause.
