never done much work on a neta heat then raden? i know from previous dealings with these boilers just how dangerous they CAN be.

However, I stand by what I said before

answer the question, then point out the dangers

If they are that dangerous, why was there not a recall put out on them ?

just well publicised warnings about working on them,if you were competent about working on boilers you would know this.my advice was get a competent person to repair or replace.

you need three things for a explosion,
fuel
air
and guess what the third is,yes you got it source of ignition and lo and behold the ht lead is not connected THAT IS THE SOURCE OF IGNITION.to the op leave the boiler alone and get a competent person to repair/replace, that is and should be the only advice given to the op.
