Mathematicians don't see imaginary numbers, they merely imagine them!

I believe that some mathematicians can in fact visualise "spaces" etc when they look at equations.

I once tripped on a single lead.

Quite so. Is one extension lead less of a trip hazard that two or more with the same total length, daisy-chained together?

Maybe some can. I had (and have) enough problems trying to visualise 3D geometry/trig!

Maybe you should spend more time looking at 3D curves.
