Goebbels has been doing his usual spin, and at some length.

One of his excuses was that he was fearful of his vision, so drove for half an hour to check it out.

"The law states that all drivers of motor cars must be able to read a standard number plate, in good daylight, from a distance of twenty metres – with spectacles or corrective lenses if required."

Thus all he needed to do was walk 20m away from a car and hey presto - problem solved!

His weird vision is not only physical - his vision for the UK is totally screwed up!

The 20m test is to check that the driver meets the eyesight standard to drive. It has nothing to do with 'fitness to drive'.
