It isn't. Visiting a holiday home doesn't mean you're risking others. But it was a clear breach of the rules.This isn't like the Scottish health advisor visiting her holiday home, this is a guy whose family had been hit by Covid and he wanted to get his kids or kid to a safe place.
He's a divisive character, some people like him, most hate him, but if those are the facts, give the guy a break.

It doesn't matter where you're isolating. If you're not leaving a house in a Scottish village you're not doing much different from not leaving a house in Glasgow. But it's against the rules.Why is that then?

Moving in with your parents, likely elderly, when you've just found out you may have Covid-19, and bouncing between London and the North for weeks later, as it seems he now did, actually puts people at risk.
