Police non-emergency. What a joke!

You thought they may be Pick Pockets where is your proof, cant see the Police wading in and arresting them because of what you think they might be .
The Police would be aware if there was a sudden spate of Pick Pocketing in that area .
Okay, okay. Can I just ask you what conclusion you would draw if you saw a group of men showing off wallets (most of them had two wallets in their hand) and swapping credit/debit cards? Stop apologising for them - I thought we were supposed to report suspicious behaviour? A man with a puppy offering sweets and attracting the attention of children in the playground at the local infant school, someone wearing a balaclava lurking in the back alley late at night, a group of men surrounding a lone female on a train station or a couple of teenagers leading a two year old out of a Liverpool shopping mall aren't crimes but they could well be. How are you supposed to report your suspicions?

Are you getting treatment for your paranoia?

Non Eastern European people quite often produce their wallets and pass over Trade Card / Argos/ M.S cards to relatives .

I think it might be dementia because I can't for the life of me remember the answer to that question I asked you several times. You did answer it, didn't you?

You do understand that manifestos aren't worth the bog paper they are written on, don't you?

Doesn't matter. The point being it's one rule for one vote, one for another when it suits.

"Here's the keys to a house, open a bank account and we'll pay some pocket money in for you"
"Thanks".
"Any kids, either here or back home"
"Six"
"Great. Here's some money for them too. Oh, While you're here, go and get that Hepatitis treated on us, we have some medicine for that. Only £110 a pill. Take one a day for 90 days and you should be fine"
"Thanks. Is there a food bank nearby?"

I wonder what country Motman lives in. Is it "FearOfForeignersLand?" Or is it "IBelieveMailLiesLand?"

It would be low priority, unless there was a Police Officer in the vicinity to attend straight away the group would have dispersed the only description was they were POSSIBLY Eastern European, the original poster did not witness a crime .

You misunderstand my point. The OP gave the impression (would be grateful if he would confirm) that the call was not even answered, just that it went through the press1 for so-and-so-type rigmarole.

As for not actually witnessing a crime, I'm pretty sure that we have been encouraged for years now to "report anything suspicious", rather than do nothing.

A family member runs a shopping centre, she regularly reports the do-as-you-likies for shop lifting, including cctv. But when the police run the number plate checks on their high end bmws. the police say oh, they are [police politically correct term for do-as-you-likies] we can't enter their camp to arrest them as it isn't safe.

I was the OP!
Yes, there was no option to speak to a real person to report anything suspicious as no crime had been committed. All options led back to 'report it online'. A great idea - if only they would tell me how to do that in the middle of Green Street.

If you don't believe me, try reporting a 'suspicion' on 101. Don't worry, you wont get to speak to a real person.

One and the same...

Of course all this Brexit nonsense is going to solve all his 'problems', isn't it?

Glad you asked. There was a thread a while ago where you were defending university degrees. I simply asked (a) whether you had one and if so what was it in and (b) what your current employment was. Just curious - might give me an idea into your way of thinking, that's all.
