Poor Buffoon has to make the most of what he can get.

He sacked, deselected or bullied out all the experienced, competent, trustworthy MPs in his party because they weren't unthinking Borisites.

He pushed his policies into the ground occupied by Farage and Yaxley-Lennon to scrape the bottom of the bucket.

He made himself dependent on people like Ree-Smogg and Cummings.

Look at his front bench now.

Larry would do a better job.

Who is Larry

Deselect those who don't tow the line seems to. Be a tactic that has gained "momentum" in politics

Theresa regrets she didn't do it.

Not many people had a land line in their house once. As the numbers grew the crime rate did as well. It actually tracked it rather well. Clearly the land lines caused the crime. Wonder what mobiles have done and things can be videoed as well, conversations recorded.

Not all that long ago there was another fuss about air rifles. Millions and millions of pellets were shot but people only heard about the one or two that caused harm. In very limited numbers many things cause harm at times.

Of late the police have observed millions of people .....................................................................

We used to get maybe an hour a day of TV news a day and people bought newspapers that were often slanted in some way. TV can be too. Now we have way more news and mass media and papers on the web. Generally the aim with all is to get as many people as possible to watch / read it. Sensationalism is very good for that.

I don't think people have changed at all over the last 50years other than probably feeling less generally secure than they did. There has always been a proportion of "bad types" around but we are reminded of them more often. Politics has changed though and loads more laws have been introduced for various reasons as they have been found to be needed. That has been happening with laws for a very long time.

Although about law making, I would say that much of it is about 'control', and also pettiness in order to be seen to be 'doing something' rather than to benefit the majority.

And Blair was probably the worst!
