Seems the father had form for beating previous girl friends. Glad to see both are guilty of murder and the uncle for allowing it.

Sadly this little girl almost escaped her fate and was in foster care until the dad won the right to have her live with him.

Plus the worry of being accused of racism ???

Apparently the child was removed from her birth mother ?? Over accusations of attempted drowning ???? Afaik ?

Tai and Naiyahmi Yasharahyalah were jailed yesterday for 24 years and 19 years for causing the death of there 3 year old by forcing him to follow an extreme vegan diet ? Which led to rickets ,anaemia , and stunted growth

Poor poor girl. just listening to the judge now, i am absolutely shocked at the treatment of her, she was collectively abused.. How how how didn't anyone in the family not report or follow this up with authorities there are a lot of people here including teachers etc who should have raised a red flag for this poor beautiful innocent girl. I hope he throws the book at them but no doubt our lenient law will not treat them anywhere near the lifetime suffering they deserve.

Why wasn't the mother allowed to see her own daughter?? Sounded like alot of cultural and family pressure here also red flags.

The child was subject to a protection order at birth, neither mother nor father were deemed fit. Father presented a story that he could provide a safe home and won custody, the rest we know.

Life sentences for both. Minimum 40 years for the dad, 33 for the stepmom. 16 years for the uncle that turned a blind eye to the abuse. Cùnts, the lot of 'em.

I listened to the full sentencing brief by the judge today which took over an hour to deliver.
The details of the torture which the parents administered was shocking.
But once again lessons have not been learnt from previous similar cases.
Social Services will no doubt claim overworked caseworkers, a lack of resources and any inquiry will blame systematic shortcomings with no individual responsible.
