There's a heronry by a lake at the back of Thorndon country park where I walk my dog. They make a right old racket. Too far away for a phone picture - I'll have to take my proper camera with a zoom lens one day.

Nah, she loves her daily walks. Needs a minimum of an hour free running each day and gets restless if she doesn't get one. Anyway, I am back at work. Every Tuesday morning in term time 9.30-12.00 with an ad-hoc agreement to quality assure the work of another training company's assessors. I just go when I feel like it.

This is my favourite time of year, when the apple blossom opens and fills the air with colour.
And i'm hoping for plenty of cherries - although i'll have to share with blackbird and thrush.
