A neighbour of mine moved to Peebles to be nearer civilisation in his old age, his name was Jock, all his dogs were called Jock, his cockerel was also called Jock.I've always wanted a Collie, I was offered a pup at Christmas but with both of us working, it wouldn't be fair on the pup, I know they need a lot of stimulation, and the wife's a cat person, got a couple, but as far as I've always seen, Collies seem to be affable with most other beasts.
I've got an old mate in Peebles, born and bred but spent most of his working life down south. His name's Jock, he may also go under the name Davy.
