Rydale Water in the Lake District. Away for a few days and some low-level fell walking.

After many years visiting the Lake District and seeing nought but mist and drizzle a few words I thought I would never use.

- its too hot
- I can't see for the sun in my eyes climbing the fell.
- So that's what its supposed to look like.

Stay on a farm caravan site near Ludlow, the Hereford way passes right through, bus stop at end of drive going to Ludlow, great place

Well another unbelievably good day in the Lakes. High fell today in Langdale at Blea Tarn.

Then walked aound the Tarn and the view looking back.

When you get to the head of the pass you get this view.
