Pound down, spending up.

The Labour govt have increased taxes and increased money into NHS to help reduce those 8 million Tory created waiting list backlogs.

Labour are trying to reduce the 750,000 people who can’t work because they are on an NHS waiting list, people like Filly for example.

What a terribly incompetent govt eh
covid had no part to play - oh wait...

Brexit - people's vote, cross party political support.
Covid - global pandemic that massively impacted healthcare services and is still doing so.

I can't imagine the mess we'd be in if Corbyn had been PM of a labour government during covid.

We'd still be waiting for our vaccines.
On balance it was probably better for the country that Borris was in charge as he was forced to make reasonably rational decisions. Had corbin been in charge I suspect bj and his colleagues would have have become full blown deniers simply to create opposition

would 've could 've.

still we got our vaccines earlier than our neighbours. Despite their best "friendly" efforts.

Maybe that was a Brexit bonus.

A brexit 'bonus'?

Now that is an urban myth that the jab junkies/brexiteers cling to!

"The UK had one of the worst increases in death rates of major European economies during the Covid pandemic"

And comparing with some of our neighbours who fared better, the inquiry has heard that...

"We'd never look like either Sweden or Norway", describing them as "healthier, wealthier and more equal" countries that are very different to the UK.

Very different indeed compared to a country that preferred to commit political/social/economic suicide...

And how are the hospital waiting lists and premature deaths in the UK doing compared with those 'neighbours' now despite those jabs ;)

So you admit Labour inherited an economy in a complete mess

Oh that’s right….you don’t admit it, you blame Labour for the economic state we are in now, not the utter sh1t they inherited.
