Trump's attempt to shut down US government fails

It is true that the CR bill normally gets handled in this way, as in it comes in at the last minute and the house do not have time to properly read it before signing off on it. It is Vivek Ramaswamy who took issue with the size of the bill, what was in the bill and the way in which it was trying to be rushed through. He highlighted this on his X account and asked voters if they were happy with it and if not to call their representatives. Americans called their representatives.
Walter Mitty.

Just like that false story of you leaving

Well I would suggest going onto X to view for yourselves but I suspect that isn't what people want to do.

Make your mind up, one minute you are saying the bill failed because there wasn’t enough time to study it…..and now you are saying there was time to listen to feedback from the public.

I worked in journalism and I can tell you it is just some selected opinions.

X has given everyday people the space to air their opinions. DOGE operates in that space. Americans and especially those on the MAGA side, get their news from X. It is a politically lit arena.

Strawman argument

So what
It does not prove that was the reason the bill wasn’t voted through….it just shows what that persons opinion was who expressed it on ****ter

You seem to lack critical thought

This is boring.

Either go and see for yourselves or don't.

I'm not bothered either way and as sure as eggs are eggs, I'm not going to spend my whole day arguing about it.

Have a good one.

None of which proves what you claim.

“Just some selected opinions” - selected by you from your Twitter feed to support your argument.

X has given everyday people the space to air their opinions
It’s an arena of toxic echo chambers

It is a place for dishonest people to spread disinformation, lies and conspiracy theories……Musk and Trump being prime examples.

In the U.K. Twitter is widely used by Institute of Economic Affairs and other grifting lobby groups to spread their propaganda.

It can be a source of facts, it depends how skilled you are at filtering those from the BS

The CR Bill was made public. Even I've scanned my eye over it, guaranteed I've not studied the 1500+ pages. Everything Vivek said was able to be cross referenced by anybody who wanted to see for themselves with their own eyes and using their own critical thinking faculty.

That really is it for me today. Bye

It's a forum, you don't have to announce you're leaving every time you want to stop posting to do some real life activities. This just looks like another mini-flounce.

According to the Washington Post, President Musk's net worth has increased by $170 billion since the election.

His $280 million campaign spend must be the most astute investment in human history.
