I've been clear in other threads about their strategy and its contribution to a poor outlook.

if you raise taxes in a fragile economy, tax employment, increase minimum wage, set a path making employment less flexible, give your unionised chums big pay rises. Businesses hold their breath and act more cautiously. That is the problem.
