I would ask for a bullet through my brain. I don't mind dying, but I'd like it to be painless.
I was shocked to hear the shadow Home Secretary say that Britain's prison population has been ballooning for the past ten years. My God, has the world gone mad? Those people are there to be punished, not to be given 'thrill of a lifetime' experiences that most law abiding citizens can only dream of.

And just think how many would be in there if the police didn't give out so many cautions.

it seems to me that the trick is delivering brain death before organ failure. Firing squad, electrocution, gas, head chopped off all fail that test.
but what about some sort of huge heavy ultra fast metal press that can basically squish the brain box in a few ms?
i can't imagine that would hurt, by comparison.

I knew someone quite a few years ago, who said he could remember being carried into the assembly hall after being beheaded in a previous life, and struggling to speak, which could make that method of death about the worst one going.
