Nine survivors of the October 7 attacks on southern Israel have filed a civil suit against pro-Palestinian groups in the United States, alleging their advocacy work on college campuses constitutes “material support” for “terrorism”. @Al Jazzera

Good luck with that.(y)

College campuses, you say?

Disgraceful that educated young people are allowed to have opinions.

Israel would put a stop to that

Isreal will be relieved when trump gets back in ?

Trump may well make a point of dealing with the mad mullers in Tehran ;)

I think filly would describe them as "American men self-identifying as Israeli"

Given their superior strength, Israel is teaching Hamas the lesson that it's not a good idea to start something you can't finish
Good advice.
To me it looks like it's the Israelis have started something they can't finish.
They have had over 70 years to "finish" what they have started.
Yet they have suffered the worst terrorist attack in their history.

Activists and legal experts in the West Bank say Friday’s ruling by the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which has found that Israel’s occupation of the Palestinian territories is unlawful, will do little to improve life for Palestinians. Other states must now apply collective pressure on Israel to end its rule over Gaza and the West Bank, including annexed East Jerusalem, if the situation there is to change, they say.

The world’s highest court concluded on Friday (with 12-3 judges in favour) that Israel is forcibly displacing Palestinians from their lands, exploiting water sources, annexing large swaths of the occupied territory “by force” and is violating the right of Palestinians to “self-determination”. The ICJ also ruled that Israel must stop all building of settlements in the West Bank and should compensate Palestinians for human rights violations in the occupied territory.

There's little hope Israel will comply. The ICJ’s 2004 advisory opinion found Israel’s separation wall and settlements on occupied Palestinian land illegal and settlements have not only remained in the West Bank since the ruling, but the number of Israeli settlers living there has also risen from 250,000 in 1993 to more than 700,000 in 2023.

They march in support of a free Palestinian state.
It's up to Israel to stop the illegal expansion of settlements into the West Bank and the oppression of people in the Gaza Strip.
The problem with that is: The Arabs don't want a "free Palestinian state" they want the destruction of the jewish one. And the death of all jews. They've stated this repeatedly and openly, their charters, their covenants, in their speeches, in their sermons, in their TV and radio broadcasts, in their school textbooks, in their university gatherings, and any other way they have been able to shout loudly, scream and protest to say so

Also the occupation is justified by international law. After the '67 war, the UN passed a carefully-worded resolution that said Israel had been right to occupy Arab territory and should stay there until a final peace had been brokered. The Arab League responded with a statement: 'No peace with Israel, no negotiations with Israel, no recognition of Israel (as a Jewish state)'. So the occupation is not illegal. It will not remain for ever, but it will remain until the Palestinians see what is in their best interests and make and stick to peace. This of course they'll never do, because in part, they have so many gullible useful idiots in the West carrying water for them, thinking that in doing so, they're standing up for an oppressed people against the big, nasty jews.

Some of them spout total distorted arguments and untruths.

Why is there a blockade on journalism operating in Gaza?
Does Gaza have a dedicated media operating from Gaza, in the same way as the Israel Hayom?
It's a free newspaper, one of the (if not the largest) in Israel and is owned by friends of Netanyahu.
Owned by the family of Sheldon Adelson, a businessman, political donor, and personal friend and benefactor of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel Hayom has often been criticized for portraying Netanyahu in an overly positive light.

, the UN passed a carefully-worded resolution that said Israel had been right to occupy Arab territory and should stay there until a final peace had been brokered.
It seems that the UN concedes that the territory being occupied is Arab and not Israeli .
Did this carefully worded resolution also say that Israel had the right to cleanse occupied Arab territory of Arabs in order to facilitate the settlement of fat Americans and religious nutcases.
As for a final settlement, why would it be in Israels interest to agree a final settlement when territory they consider their own is still inhabited by millions of Palestinians.

Netanyahu has stated that what he called 'facts on the ground' will decide any future settlement, he appears to mean that the facts will be that there will be no Palestinians around to form a Palestinian state because they have all been forced out to make way for millions more immigrants from America and Europe.
