Problem with Drive F : CDRW

80 min, but the drive is only jusy 1 yo.

Tried other discs, no joy. Tried other ways of producing discs no joy.

But.......It works fine with CD RW

The machine says "you have incorrect media installed (surely that should be medium as there is only one.......) you need CDRW. So I tried and the f***Ing thing works.......but not with the original disks that I have been using for yonks to record audio on.

Strange but true. I can't get the bottom of it but will use CDRW until I do.

Hiya buddy, wondered what happened!

Check to see that the CDr is data and not audio.

I think INCD is only for CDRW??

Without actually seeing what is/isn't happening, it's difficult to help as I can't replicate or think what may be going wrong.

But the audio thing may be the culprit.

Seeing as you've burnt audio successfully and CDRW's work.

It's been a long time MMJ, that's what happened! Keep forgetting to visit and check replies. Boo!

CDr is Imation, billed as suitable for writing data, music, video & games.

All I know is that Nero & InCD have successfully conspired to write music onto CDr's, but when it comes to digi photo files, nothing.

If I can rack your brains for a bit of help.

How would you go about copying digi photo's to CD? Maybe I could try your method and see if it works.......?
