make your mind up.

You either are impacted by IHT or you aren't.
How many poor people suffer with iht.

It's generally the well off inheriting even more that complain about having to pay tax on massive unearnt benefits.

A bit like paying tax on savings, that's unearnt too

Which reinforces my point.

Contributing for the good of others is, for some of us anyway, something we do not because we have to, but because we want to.
He's one o' Thatcher's generation who believes no such thing as Society exists. They tie themselves in knots making excuses to justify their attitude but all of 'em secretly want to be in Elon Musk's shoes, and applaud his approach to cutting Public Services, reducing taxation and elimineating any government oversight.

The IDF have shot a Syrian protestor as they move beyond the declared 'buffer zone' in the Golan region. Another day, another war crime in the life of Netanyahu's storm troopers.

I found it enlightening to show how protest is dealt with in a democracy - of course, people have different ideas about a Democratic mandate but i should think an incident like that in any other Western democracy would recive more scrutiny than it does in Israel They literally get away with murder every day, while folk like you stand aside and applaud.

An army that invades a foreign country might not consider the inhabitants to be human beings with rights, if they are of an "inferior" race or religion.

The Israeli army is in the habit of killing and wounding Arabs and destroying their homes, farms and infrastructure.

Would those upholding the idea of charging IHT on handed down family farms also object to this?

"Nigel Farage has been working as a paid brand ambassador for a gold bullion firm in a third job alongside his roles as an MP and a GB News presenter"

"Farage argued during the podcast that gold was a good investment because there was no capital gains tax and people could put it in their pension pots"

How did the savings get there? Someone earned them and paid tax before they got to the bank.

Yes, the British government didn't earn the inheritance wealth either - so why should they take it? The people, many undeserving, who will benefit from the IHT grab didn't earn it - so why should they have it?

Just more wealth redistribution, that apparently doesn't happen.
