Info: Pulsacoil 2000; fitted 2002.
Here goes; Basically the Pump PCB is flashing seven times over three seconds, then off for half a second - repeated; indicating what would seem to be a DHW sensor error (according to manual). At the same time a noise, eminating from the same place seems to match the LED's pattern (my father said this noise is relay jitter). My father who is an electrician (though has no experience of Gledhill) has changed the DHW sensor to no avail. He checked the voltage to the pump and it excalty matches the noise (sounds like a quite buzzer) and the pattern of the LED's - it bounces between 125V and 60V when hot water is not running and between 160V and ~70V when it is running. To be clear the relay jitter noise, LED pattern of flashes and voltage-to-pump pattern all follow the same three seconds on - half second off pattern...
The manifested problem is only slight. Basically I can get hot water at low to medium flow rates (shower, taps, etc) though not at higher flow rates (mainly to fill Bath). So if anyone has any ideas what may be the problem, we would be greatful to hear your thoughts. We think it MAY be the Pump PCB as a whole, but I don't want to order one and find we're wrong as they are £85.
