Well one time they managed to put me on the register twice at the same address. Strangely the people at the polling station refused to give me two papers. Makes you wonder how accurate the turnout figures are when some people go along and are refused more than one go.

All those people with second homes who get a letter demanding the names of everyone eligible to vote who lives there? Absolutely certain that a lot of people are registered twice. The only question is how many?
Maybe it is 30%. So an apparent turnout of 70% could be a real turnout of 100%
