Quoting other posts and obtaining a white background.

Can someone let me know how to quote another post and have that post backgrounded with white? I tried to use the Quote facility a while back but it never worked as it is supposed to ie same blue background as my responding post. As I did not wish to anger the purists I did not submit my post. I also cannot find any details in the forum section on this subject. Thanks in advance for your help. :)

Do as you did before click on quote then just make sure you put your reply after the last quote and bracket,............. [/quote] put your reply here

That cartoon reminds me of a story my dear old Granny told me.

When she was 9 or 10 (in 1912/3) she had to go to the loo in the middle of the night. Got up, went outside, staggered bleary-eyed down the path and sat on the loo, only to find her aunt already there!!!!
