I now have a serious confession to make...I hope Ban, Breezer & others can forgive me....

I worked for B & Q in 1988. It was in the days when B & Q did not have public toilets.

B & Q used to have a system of "call codes" to use over the Tannoy - ie "Decorative Code 123 to checkout 1, please"

Where the number had a meaning ie price check, spillage theft etc...

My mate Jane got on the tannoy one day and said, "Decorative Code 999 to Bathrooms, please." So I went to the CS desk to find her and said "We don't have a Code 999. What the hell's that?"

"We do now. A little girl's just done a poo in a display toilet. Can you deal with it?"

Now that was a bum job...........

This happens a lot at boat shows...

Not fun when the seacock is directly above another stand.

The best one that I heard of tho was on the Sun Squeeker stand. A couple had gone on one of the boats and were gone some time so the salesman looking after the boat went to investigate. They were found in the forward cabin getting down to it! Subsequently the salesman asked them to leave and on exiting the vessel, the salesman said 'When I said you could leave a deposit on the boat, that's not quite what I was inferring!'

Probably a boatshow myth, but still funny!
