Hear Hear Joe, jctiling seems to be one of these bleeding heart liberal type do gooders. He can see no wrong with someone who has not affected him at all.
I wonder how he'd have felt had it been him sat in the police car and had been blinded by this maniac, or if Moat had threatened him with a shotgun.
Far too many of these do gooders about these days. Apparently sticking up for thugs, scum and murderers is the done thing. He probably thinks Derek Bird was a great bloke too and the London bombers were decent religious chaps. Pffffttttttt

thats your opinion and you are very welcome to it mate, my opinion is different so i think we will have to agree to disagree.

The trouble with that is that we all have to pay to keep murdering scum who don't deserve to live. It would be fine if namby pamby beauts like yourself were prepared to pay all the bills for them.

OK clever lad, it just so happens that unlike you, i had known Moat for the last 15yrs (through business that is, not personally) i always found him to be polite and courteous and CONSTANTLY IN WORK, paying HIS TAXES and INSURANCE, therefore WE would not be paying to keep him in prison HE paid for it with his contributions if ya want to be exact, even his 2nd job as a doorman was a declared income.

To reply to your statement, i NEVER said i condoned his actions, actually the policeman was never mentioned by me, i aint a bleeding heart liberal type as you seem to think i am.
I DONT stick up for anyone except myself and my family mate, and i certainly aint a DO GOODER, Derek Bird was a bloke who had a breakdown and went to pieces and slaughtered people so NO i dont think he was a decent bloke AT THE TIME.
I just hope you never have any mental health problems or if you do i hope it AINT people like yourself that has to help you.
Know all the facts before you condemn someone, not what you hear in the news or read in papers

i didnt mean to imply i was privvy to any facts, what i meant was know facts and not what you read in papers or what have you.
I knew the bloke and he was nothing like he was portrayed in the papers.
the assault on the child, that was falsely reported, he was arguing with his Ex Ex gilrfriend and was about to slap her, his daughter ran in the way and caught the brunt of the slap, the EX got the police involved.That was an accident not an assault.
He was a polite bloke even when on the doors, No i was NOT a friend but i knew him through business, his business, my business and through friends businesses.
He was made out to be a monster when in fact he was not. YES he turned into a monster upon release from prison and done things that should NEVER have happened, but SURELY the police have to accept some of the blame
So it would have been alright if his daughter hadn't got in the way?

These accounts you believe to be true are what you have read or heard on the news by police and his ex girlfriend family.
No one who knew him described him like that, apart from the people mentioned.But then again i would accept that that would be their way to describe him after what he did
Let me clarify my stance on the subject, I DO NOT AGREE OR CONDONE what he did in NO WAY, SHAPE or FORM.
It just ****es me off when people say this that and the other when they did not know him, so they go by hearsay and not facts
could not give you an answer that i know to be 100% truthful, but by all accounts, and by that i mean rumours and chinese whispers, it was supplied by someone he knew through working the doors in newcastle.But as i say thats only a rumour

But the fact remains, he was tried and found guilty of assault , not found guilty of an accident.
Doesn't matter that it was an accident, he should not have been trying to hit his wife/girlfriend at the time.
Why do people on here try and defend the indefensible, just because they happen to know someone?. I suppose Hitler was an alright sort of bloke until he gave up art and turned to thoughts of world dominance. Peter Tobin was a nice neighbour to some people,,, didn't stop him being a murderer. The Soham murderer was probably a good caretaker, but what the hey.
Anyway, Moat's followers are now claiming that it was the Prison Service's fault for not letting him have psychiatric treatment.. Talk about passing the buck.
What a pathetic lot. They'd rather blame anyone than the bloke that did the crime.
well i guess you are 1 of these blokes who makes there mind up and thats that, you wont change your mind no matter what.
Think there is a hell of a difference betweem hitler, the soham murderer and moat, you are comparing him to a genecidal maniac and a maniac who murdered two ten year old girls. If you want to give me a proper comparison please feel free to do so
