A quick example of Tynesiders mentality. ... About 15-20 yrs ago, police were chasing a stolen car through North Shields. The driver of the stolen car lost control, crashing into a wall/lampost and both the driver and his accomplice were killed. Locals were very quick to blame the police saying they should have backed off and let them escape at a leisurely pace. As I remember it caused a near riot.

Yeah right... Had they not stolen the car in the first place this incident would never have happened. Locals lost sight of this fact and all were saying what lovely young men they were, they wouldn't harm a fly etc etc.

Why do people find fault with everyone else and not the criminals I state again?? Is it some sort of social condition to blame others?

Same goes for victims of crime too, They are very low on the list when it comes to human rights, but that's for another thread methinks.

Like i said, get ya facts RIGHT FIRST, the riots you refer to were in meadowell North tynside, the riots were NOT because the police SHOULD have backed off. The riots were because the police car RAMMED them off the road.And for your
Dont be so quick to brush ALL tynesiders with the same brush. I am sure NOTHING wrong ever happens where you live.

Vicitms of crime are too FAR down the ladder as far as i am concerned, not enough is done to help them after the crime has been commited

It is a fact that Moat committed horrible crimes, it is also a FACT that the police executed him in cold blood by using taser gun on him whilst his finger was on the trigger. If this isn't deliberate then i don't know what is.

He killed one of them hence the retribution had to come one day or the other. I feel that if a normal member of the public had been shot instead of the policeman, Moat would still be negotiating with the police officers right now.....

I have no faith in the police after what happened to the Menzes guy, shot in the head seven times on the tube for what? He was completely innocent. Moat was executed and regardless of his crimes this was done before a trial.

Why not excute Hamza and his cohorts? How many people has Abu Hamza killed by proxy with his poisoneous views? But I hear that Hamza has just had a new set of crome taps installed in his cell....

I also don't think the Moat facebook page should have been pulled, freedom of speech anyone? Why allow freedom of speech to various terrorists in this country but not to the people who wrote on Moat's facebook page. Smacks of hypocrisy.

So their mistakes are a billion times bigger than a binmans!! and would you take on a gang of youths kicking the sh ite of of another youth, or try to dissarm a nutter with a gun or a knife? yes? well you'd be a hero too...

As for jp demenez (can't remember the spelling).. it was a disaster.... absolute mess... but if you can cite any other human activity with 100% success... i'll reconsider the validity of the police....

The met police have apologised many times for the killing of this totally innocent man. He was shot seven times because it was mistakenly believed that he was a suicide bomber.
