A quick example of Tynesiders mentality. ... About 15-20 yrs ago, police were chasing a stolen car through North Shields. The driver of the stolen car lost control, crashing into a wall/lampost and both the driver and his accomplice were killed. Locals were very quick to blame the police saying they should have backed off and let them escape at a leisurely pace. As I remember it caused a near riot.
Yeah right... Had they not stolen the car in the first place this incident would never have happened. Locals lost sight of this fact and all were saying what lovely young men they were, they wouldn't harm a fly etc etc.
Yep lovely young men who go out stealing cars then flee from the police because they know they have done wrong.
Why do people find fault with everyone else and not the criminals I state again?? Is it some sort of social condition to blame others?
Same goes for victims of crime too, They are very low on the list when it comes to human rights, but that's for another thread methinks.
